TG Group is celebrating another successful year at the Coracle World Championships, retaining its title of World Champions while raising an impressive £4,350 for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire.
The event brought together competitors, supporters and volunteers from across the region for a fantastic day of racing and fundraising. Following a spirited performance on the water, Team TG successfully defended its championship title, continuing a proud tradition at one of the area’s most unique and entertaining sporting events.
While lifting the trophy was a great achievement, the team is equally proud of the fundraising efforts that accompanied the event. Thanks to the generosity of employees, customers, suppliers, sponsors and friends, TG Group raised £4,350 to support the vital work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support in Shropshire.
TG Group would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone who contributed, whether through donations, sponsorship, volunteering or simply coming along to support the event. The enthusiasm and generosity shown by so many people helped make the day a tremendous success both on and off the water.
Special recognition also goes to the volunteers and event organisers whose hard work ensured another memorable Coracle World Championships, as well as to all sponsors who supported the fundraising campaign.
